I just got back from a 2 day workshop in Atlanta that PPA sponsored.  It taught me a lot.  (A mean a lot)  I learned how to better market my business and learn how to deal with customers.  I am going to have to digest everything in the next day or two and rework everything.

    I was able to take a lot of nice fine art photography images while I was there.  (Images will be posted by the end of the week.) 

    I will also be posting some images of my wife’s stay in the hospital and Halloween.

   I have been so busy the last couple of weeks.  My wife spent some time in the hospital and I caught a nasty chest infection.   All is well now and cannot wait to get thing back to “normal.”

   Tonight at camera club, while fishing around the magazine bin, I found this old magazine that I feel in love with the cover image

This camera belonged to Bill Biggart.  He was a photographer that was killed on 9-11 when the second tower collapsed.  The rules are generally when you are done with the magazine, put it back in the bin but considering I gave them 20 magazines last week, the is going in my collection of favorite images.

  I had the pleasure of shooting Tal’s Bar Mitzvah yesterday.  While I was not allowed to shoot anything during the service, I got some great shoots of the reception.

I have been bust editing images from a recent wedding and will be posting those to me website shortly. I also plan on updating my portfolio as well as my whole website.

I just wanted to send everyone an update.  My family and I just got back from our vacation in Boulder.  We had a lot of fun.  While we were busy visiting my wife’s new niece, we did not get much of a chance to go into the mountains.  I was able to take some amazing images in the center of town.  (Pearl Street Mall.)  I am calling the collection, “personne qui collecte les donations.”   While that is in French, when you see the images, you should be able to translate.

          None of these images are have been corrected in Photoshop.  They are just as I shot them.  (Just exposure correction )  I wanted everything to be the way it was when I saw it.   I included an image that I took in Boulder 2 years ago and a image in Cambridge that I took 3 years ago b/c they all go together.)

I had a lot of fun in Salem with Carin watching the fireworks!
