One of the instuctors from school showed me his work and I feel in love with it. I came accross his website again today and I am still amazed. (http://laforetvisuals.com) 3 images come to my mind that are fantaic.
-
A Top of the Empire State Building. (Not for anyone with a fear of heights.)
-
New York City Blackout Taken during a black out in 2003
-
Brooklyn cab- A picture of flatbush just after a snow storm.
All of these are arial images. When I hit the big time I plan on purchasing the Empire State Building image for the wall of my loft and/or studio.

Can a candid shop being any more awesome? There is no way this would have looked the same if I staged this.
My transfer to the new web server is almost done! My email is back! I have to wait a little longer for everything to be “officially” done.

This is someone who I went to school with.
I took the first step in moving my domain. In about 5 days everything should be moved and I can state using my new web-page. Please be patient while the move takes place. You can click on the www.john-roy.com on the right of the screen. I wish it was instant but it is not.
This was a very lucky “accident” I was zooming in while I was taking a series of pictures. When I saw the image on the dislplay afterwards, I almost deleted it, (I am glad I waited until i got home)
I entered another competition at camera club and won another ribbon. This image got second place. Not bad for a hail mary shot. I was sent out on Moody Street and was told to shoot circles and/or round “things” and this is what I can back with. I did “tweak” it a little in Photoshop but I kept the original theme of the image.
I am in the middle of moving my web-page to a new domain and I had to redo my blog. Thank God I was able to import my old blog here. I will let everyone know when the official unveiling of www.john-roy.com is available. In the mean time, click here to see my temporary site while everything is moved.
